Dickinson College Farm

Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania

Dickinson College Farm is an expanding project that began in January 2007 and is closely tied to Dickinson College. Over the next three years the farm aims to expand production area from 1.5 acres to 13 acres. Students from the College work on the farm and assist with raising produce for the College Dining Hall. DCF also runs a small CSA program and sells at a local farmers' market. "Our primary focuses are to raise vegetables for the College, provide an educational venue for academic interests, and serve as a resource for consumers and farmers alike. With that said, we incorporate a lot of educational events into our farming system, from renewable energy to seed saving." -Jennifer Halpin, Farm Manager.
